I have a proposal to how we use the channels in the game. Note: These are for while we are in operations.
Side Channel: Main Communication (All operational matters.)
Global: Non-Operational Matters (Reporting a issue with keyboard, microphone, etc.)
Command: Request Permissions (Take off, To take a vehicle, To leave operation.)
Vehicle: No Current Use (Suggestions would be nice.)
Direct Communication: Use For Private Conversations (Should only be used for talking to a outranking Commander. Example: Captain Raziza or Colonel Troy.)
Group: Not In Use (We will most likely all be in one squad, if not, it can be used to communicate to your division. Example: Pilots, MP, etc.)
Just some thoughts, this is open for discussion.

I like this, it is good timing too as I was wondering about channel use. I do think we should designate a channel for the CO to olny transmit orders on. Any Ideas? Perhaps group?

Yes that seems like a good idea. We could also switch group and command. Group would be for permissions, and Command could be for orders. It's your call Troy.

Ok, that's what we are going to do, thanks.

Since we have converted to ACRE, this obviously isn't going to work anymore. The new protocol (still being formed) is currently as follows:
Channel 1: General authorized use Channel 2: Boot Camp Channel 3: Private Comm 1 Channel 4: Private Comm 2 Channel 5: Battalion Command and Radio Operators olny Channel 6: Bravo Company Olny Channel 7: Charlie Company Olny Channel 8: Rangers Olny
